Does anyone else have this issue with temping?
I wake up in the middle of the night almost every night. Sometimes around 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. Should I take my temperature then? If I don't, and I go back to sleep, then wake up for good at 7:00 am, now I've only been asleep for maybe 2 or 3 hours, and I think you are supposed to be asleep for longer than that before taking your waking temp.
However, if I take my temp the first time I wake up, then I'm taking my temperature at different times everyday. And I really can't control when I wake up.

I had the same problem, I would wake up at 4-5 am some mornings having to pee soo bad, i tried my hardest to fall back to sleep. WHen you wake up to do get up out of bed? IF not you can still take your temp the same time every morning.
You should get 3 consective hours of sleep and take your temp the same time to get a accurate readings

Re: Does anyone else have this issue with temping?
i always had this problem...so much that my chart was reading "anovulatory" and i was not!
what i do now is set my alarm for 4:30 am, take my temp, and go back to sleep..that way i know that i have had 3 or 4 good hour of sleep before i take my temp.....and i am producing a TOTALLY different chart now!!
geeez, the thing we do to ttc!!!!

Yes, usually I get up to pee, and my chart is so wacky. Setting the alarm is a good idea! Thanks!

I actually wake up constantly during the night I will usually take my temp if I'm up at 5 and feel like I won't be able to fall back to sleep easily instead of waiting for the alarm to go off just to make sure I've gotten the 3 hour sleep in
