Does anyone else live on a dead end?

We're 2 house from the end of the road. There is a sign clear as day that says "DEAD END" and I can't tell you how many times a day people fly down the block only to stop short and have to turn around.
I'm waiting for the day someone goes right through the fence to the other side.

Anyone else experience this?

YES!!!! And this happens all the time!!! We don't let DS play in the street but kids on our block are always playing in the street and it's very scary and dangerous to see these morons speeding down the block.

Yes, we're the first house on the right when you turn down our block. We don't have many people that come down the block but we have one neighbor who lives at the very end who FLIES down the block in his corvette. The funny thing is (well it's not that funny) he has kids too and I don't think he would like it if people sped past his house while the kids were playing.

I grew up on a dead end street that was right off of a busy road but we never had this problem. I'm guessing it was because there are only about 11 houses on the road and the same people have been living there for 20+ years... it's not like someone is going to make a wrong turn onto that road.

i don't live on a dead end, but i am on a one way. i can't tell you how many morons go up it the wrong way! which part of it being a NARROW, all cars facing one direction street do they not understand?

We are the only house in the dead end. When you come down the cross street, you either make a right to come to our house or a left to continue through the neighborhood. DH & I are constantly laughing at all the people that make a right & then need to turn around. How the heck do you miss the "DEAD END" sign???
