Does anyone else NOT wear flats? Ever?
I am 5 9. So you would think flats would be a great option for me. But I have a real issue with them- #1- they are the most uncomfortable things I have ever tried on. I have tried several pairs, styles, brands- no good. They cause blisters to start forming the second I try them on.
#2- I just feel, IDK, Frumpy or something in them.
Am I the only crazy person out there??

Re: Does anyone else NOT wear flats? Ever?
I am 5'2 so I shouldn't really wear flats but I do. However, it took me a very long time to start wearing them. Basically, after I became a working mother I realized what a great option it is. Especially now, when they are in style and one can find so very nice looking ones.
I do agree with you about comfort-it is very difficult to find well fitting flats. I find that most of them are very uncomfortable and give you major blisters. It's tougher to find a comfy flat than a comfy heel, for sure!

i have to say of ALL the kinds i have tried on, i can only wear flats that are made of fabric - so they are usually super cheap but very comfortable. my favorite pair kind of looks like lace.

I only wear 1 brand. Me Too. They have cushioning on the bottom. I have high arches. I can't wear most flats. This is the 1st pair I bought that felt so comfy. It's casual but not overly casual.

Re: Does anyone else NOT wear flats? Ever?
I own 2 pairs of flats and I never wear them. I feel so frumpy in them and I don't think they look right on me. I see other people in them and think they look nice but when I wear them I think my pants look too short or too long or as crazy as it sounds that my feet look too white. I know it's weird because the same amount of my foot is exposed in heels but in flats when I look down all I can see is my huge white feet.

Re: Does anyone else NOT wear flats? Ever?
It takes me awhile to find flats. I need ones with some type of support in them. They are out there but I have to pass on a lot of cute ones

Re: Does anyone else NOT wear flats? Ever?
I did not wear flats until pregnant b/c I'm 5'2" and think they do nothing for me!
However, my friend just told me about this stuff they have in the bandaid aisle of target, it's like a wax for the back of your foot to prevent irritation and blistering when wearing shoes, she swears by it.

I am 5'6" and I can't wear flats either. They don't offer any arch support and they give me blisters EVERY time!!

Re: Does anyone else NOT wear flats? Ever?
At work, NEVER, I wear 4”+, I LOVE high heels. On the weekends, I have been trying recently but they are SOOOOO uncomfortable!! I must have tried on 20 pairs at aldo, steve madden & macys, all different prices & they all hurt.

I find that I need to wear flats on the days that I run. That way, my feet are ready for pounding the pavement.

Re: Does anyone else NOT wear flats? Ever?
I never wear flats. I can not find a comfortable pair. I have tried on so many, but to no avail. I almost always wear 3 inch heels.
I did have one pair from payless that I got probably 6 years ago that, believe it or not, were the only comfortable ones I have ever owned, but unfortunately, they have since been retired.

Re: Does anyone else NOT wear flats? Ever?
i do mostly - i can't walk in high heels. I try but doesn't work for me - so far built up to a 2" heel and that is even tricky for me LoL

I'm 6'1" and won't be caught dead in flats! I just don't think they're flattering on anybody. I understand not everybody can wear heels whether it's for medical/health reasons or or comfort, but since those aren't issues for me, I'm gonna' rock my heels while I can.
I prefer 3-4" heels, but it's not uncommon to see me in a 5". Most of my casual/everyday boots have a 3" heel.

Yes!! This is what I mean. I just think they are frumpy and I feel like an old woman in them. I am glad someone even taller than me rocks heels. For so long I never went above a 2 inch heel because I was self conscious about my height. Now I always rock a 3 inch at least- and I am loving it. I'm startin to embrace my height more now that I'm older!

I am 5'8, and I definately wear both. I don't feel as dressed up in flats, but I like them on weekends.

Re: Does anyone else NOT wear flats? Ever?
Me! I don't wear them ever - except when I was pregnant. I don't like the way they feel, they give me blisters and I like the look of my legs in heels. I try and get comfy heals and the only thing I wear for comfort is sneakers or my Uggs.
