Does anyone else not wear shorts?

I hate shorts. I seriously do. I think they look really dumb on me. All I own for the summer are skirts and dresses - I think they look nicer anyway.

Anyone with me? I know my best friend is the same way, but wondering how many other ladies don't rock the shorts either..

I still wear shorts, but it is very hard to find a pair that does not look dumb - I know what you are saying. I only wear them to the beach or when it is really hot.

My main thing during the summer is capris. I don't care for my legs. Not the shape so much, but the fact that I am so fair, that my veins show (even though they are nowhere near the surface of my skin)

yea, I never wear shorts unless its over a bathing suit at the beach.
My summer "uniform" is a tank top, abercrombie-type capris and flip flops. Sometimes I'll substitute a skirt for the capris.

I haven't worn shorts other than for working out in years.
Skirts all the way for me in the summer.

i dont remember the last time i wore shorts...

i look really bad in them.

i wear skirts and dresses all summer long too

ETA
i take that back i SOMETIMES/ VERY RARELY wear khaki cargo shorts. i own 2 pairs that look like this with either flip flops or wedge sandals

I refuse to wear shorts. I think they're gross. I have a ton of summer skirts and capris.

i kind of like the longer shorts from j crew- i know you hate those alicia, lol.

otherwise i think shorts are very unflattering

if i HAVE to wear them it will only be when its excruciatingly hot out and i am going to the beach- even at the beach i prefer a coverup over shorts

Longer ones I will wear once in awhile when I am really hot-BUT I HATE wearing shorts generally! they look bad on me... I hate my legs too!

I do wear shorts, but I do love capris and skirts too, I just think they look nicer and are more comfortable.

i'm with you! i dont wear anything that falls above my knees. for summer, i only wear capris, gouchos, and skirts.

I used too...but the past few summers I've started to hate them as well....I'd rather wear a cute skirt, dress, capris or gauchos.

I feel like shorts are for young people (not that I consider myself that old). I wear skirts and capris in the summer. If I am knocking around the house or going to the grocery store/doing errands then I'll wear shorts. And I'll wear them to the beach/pool over my suit.

I don't wear them either. I only wear skirts or dresses in the summer.

Last summer I did buy a pair of the longer shorts (to the knee) and I thought they looked really cute! You definitely need the right shoe though.

I actually really like shorts, but I feel like there was a period of time where I didn't really wear them because the styles were either too short (made for 14 year old hoochies) or they were too frumpy looking. However, I love that the longer Bermuda-ish style shorts are now back in style. I wear those in the summer along with capris.

Wow! I never realized how many women hate shorts. I guess I'm the minority, I still like and wear them.
