Does anyone else's DC behave better for other people than you?
So Friday and Saturday DS physically drained me and I was in bed by 9 and 9:30pm. On Friday my MIL couldn't believe how he acts out when we go out and she felt terrible for me. I always just keep myself composed give him warnings and sometime I leave the store or place and other times he calms down. Well he wasn't calming down on Friday. He has never acted like that for my IL's when they have watched him. So she was shocked to see this side of him. Then Saturday was a just a mess all day and DH was with us.
So, the kids behave when DH has both of them when they go out or when they are home and I am not. The kids behave with my parents and my IL's. When I take the kids out they will 90% fight or DS will have a meltdown. I really don't let it get to me because I feel like that is par for the age (he will be 3 in April). My DD always behaves for me.
Maybe because I am the only one that really disciplines him, I'm not sure but I was wondering if anyone else has this problem.

ME ME ME. My DD is a perfect angel for my mom, MIL, and school. My mom always tell me they change the second I walk in the door. They are better behaved for my DH than me but not as good as they are for others.

Yes, Kaila is an absolute angel at school. For my mom and SIL she gets crabby, but not as bad as she gets with me.

DS is also great in school...Even if I take him out myself he will act out if he is a cart. If I put him in the stroller he is good because he is usually snacking on something.

Oh yes! Even her teachers tell me how agreeable she is in school- and they see how she isn't always so easy with me.
