Does anyone else's inner OCD come out when feeding your DC?
Seriously, feeding his kid increases my blood pressure! 
He's a great eater, but feeding him is SO MESSY! I know this comes with the territory, but I wipe him down after every spoonfull! Am I the only lunatic?!

I have a feeling I will be the same way when I start feeding DD.
For now I wipe her mouth as she is drinking her bottle because the formula gets all over her chin and drips and it drives me nuts!

My DH thinks I am a mental patient with the way I hang over them and clean them. It's not getting any better either....I still do it. They are 5 and 3-year old twins and I hover with the wipes. I wonder if I will ever take that tuib of wipes off my counter.

you wipe him after every spoonfull Just wait until they feed themselves AND refuse a bib any longer, it gets worse!

This was comoletely me a week ago, until it dawned on me that if i just let it get all over the place, and nit clean up until after he is done, there's less of a chance my bp goes up. But it still irks me...a lot. Just thinkin... It really is going to get a lot worse, so keep smiling :) i say this to myself. Doesnt always work, but it does help me off the ledge.
I keep reminding myself that kid#2... I'll be a lot looser with that one...calmer... I hope.

You should've seen me smearing carrot all over DD's face the other day!!!! I think I would've driven you up a wall!
She wanted to eat and lick it and stuff but seems to really hate the spoon I use (I still use a very gummy soft one since she's only 5 months) so I started to smear it on her top lip and let her lick it and use her hand to shove it in her mouth. Then I'd also put some on my pinky and stick it in her mouth and she'd chew on my finger and suck on the carrot. It was so much fun and SUCH a mess!!!
I do wipe her if it goes down her neck, but she's gotten way better at avoiding that.
I'm really looking forward to this week's sweet potato food fight!

I can pretty much go through a whole pack of wipes in like 3 days from this alone... it's BAD! LOL

Yes! and I didn't realize I was passing it on to DD! Anytime something gets on her hands she freaks out and yells eeewww!
