Does anyone have an easy tasty cake frosting recipe (white) ?

I usually go the east route out of the can but was wondering if theres a simple tasty homeade frosting recipe someone might like to share

It has to be white because I need to dye the frosting ...the cake I am making is 18x12 and I am using strawberry filling...Preferably something that spreads easily !

This one takes some time, but it's pretty easy and SUPER delicious!! (easy to spread also)

White buttercream:
6 cups of confectioner's sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp clear vanilla
1 cup boiling water
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
2 3/4 shortening

Mix sugar, salt, and vanilla in stand mixer until combined. Add boiling water and scrape down sides until all of the sugar mixture is wet. Mix on slow until the bowl starts to cool off.
Once the bowl is cooler, add butter and shortening and mix on medium until it starts to look smoother. Once it's smooth, turn mixer on high and mix for 20 minutes.

I LOVE the one on the back of the powdered sugar bags

so easy.
i think it is butter, sugar, vanilla and milk.
