Does anyone have an electric fireplace that gives off heat?
We are in a temp rental & the insulation sucks. I mean sucks. We've covered the windows but the cold is also coming in through all sides of the front door even after adding those strips. I think I need one of these heating fireplaces - Do they work well?

Does anyone have an electric fireplace that gives off heat?
Yeah I have one and it gives off pretty good heat. It easily warms up the living room. I have pix in my album.

I don't have it but if you live an apartment building, make sure you are allowed to have it. My friend bought a nice one for her apartment but she was told by the leasing office that she couldn't keep it in the apartment.

I never would have thought about that! But it's a private house & unfortunately, we are here during the winter season.

we have one that was given to us by mil and it is very strong.
we have insane heat in our apt so we dont really need it on but when we did use it it was very forceful heat.

I have one that DH and I got from Raymour and Flanagan. It looks like a fireplace and we LOVE it. So cozy! It heats our living room really well too!
