Does anyone have any weekend project updates?
We are still finishing up the same few projects. I loaded up my new pantry closet, still need to give the door one more coat.
Rich finished installing the new base molding in the guest room (we put down a new wood floor in there), but he still has a little more touch up to do.
I swapped out our summer/fall clothes & freecycled 5 bags of stuff we don't wear yesterday.
Took some of the fall decorations out, still have more to do.
I'll post pics later of the pantry & the guest room.
What did you guys works on?

We packed. And packed some more. 
We have been throwing out/donating SO much stuff over the past month and I don't even think we're halfway done.

The on-or-about is a week from today but the sellers already said it won't be till late October. 
They didn't start looking for houses until after we inspected their house.

still have to have the kitchen painting finished
And, have to have the pantry door stained...but DH doesn't know how to get if off without breaking it...
any suggestions?

Nothing this weekend (we were in Boston, which was killing my DH because he would have rather been working on the house)...
But the landscapers are here working on our new patio! They're regrading and putting down recycled concrete before they set the form for the concrete slab.
ETA: we did come up with a plan for our home audio system and ordered the amplifier and some speakers. I'm pysched about that!

I BOUGHT all sorts of stuff on line last week and I wanted to paint the 'spare' room with the colors in the new comforter I ordered, but it didn't come yet so I did nothing I’m so used to everything coming in like a day, I was shocked that it didn’t come.

We finally arrange to have the landscape crew come this week to til (and remove the massive roots that DH could not get up) and then add sod to the entire property...
Next weekend we have the following list:
Install mailbox
Hang pictures in 2 bedrooms
Hang picture in living room
Decorate for Fall/Halloween

Our weekend project was installing our new mailbox. (well one of our projects)
Before (yes that is a bungee cord holding the mailbox to the post. weird old owners thought this was ok)

ripping up 2 rugs to be wood floors down.
didnt realize how messy messy messy sheetrock and insulation is argh

We just closed Friday but DH was there all weekend. Some projects completed:
Installed new locks
Replaced hoses in washer/dryer
Toilet seat cover replaced
Ripped down molding in DD's room
Painted DD's room
Starting putting up crown molding
Bracketed for shelves in DD's closet
Cleaned all cabinets in kitchen & refrigerator

Ordered an ottoman for our chair in LR
Update on attic...framing is done, windows are ordered, plumbing (for heat) is in place. DH made some great progress

lol We were in Charleston and DH was dying b/c we "lost a weekend".
After we ripped down 2 of the 4 LR walls and put up the insulation...the contractor came to rock and install the window. It's amazing how different the room looks.

Today (Monday) was actually the end of our weekend so we got a little extra done.
- Closing was Friday
- Yard Sale on Saturday at old house to get rid of old stuff we didn't want to move with
- Moved all of our stuff out of the old house
- Had Alarm System Installed
- Had Fence installed
- Keith started foundation for shed
- Made lots of Lowe's purchases
- Put up Mailbox
- Had cable, internet and phone changed over
- Submitted a ton of change of address requests
- Unpacked entire kitchen
I really feel like everything above did nothing to even put a dent in everything that needs done here. I feel like 3 days went by and I did nothing. AHHHHHH!!!!!
