My weekend project
last weekend we got our in-gound sprinklers installed and because they had to chop up pieces of the grass, parts our yard was looking like crap!  so uneven and hard to grow grass!
In the front, we have lights to shine on the walkway. Where the lights were, we were trying to grow grass...but it wasnt working out too well and it was to was hard to cut the grass around the lights....so I dug up what grass and weeds were there, layed a brick edge and fulled the whole area with river rocks! I LOVE IT!!

I will be working on the grass area to the left of the garden.
I think the whole area looks so much neater now, and when the grass grows...its will look beatiful!!

we have a patch of dirt that is 12 ft long on our patio, and i told Dh that I wanted to do the stones and lights, so we went to HD on Saturday and the stones I wanted were sold out and I couldn't find a border I liked (stone), but we have the lights!
Looks good!

Lisa-I just drove by your house and it looks great. I wasn't sure which one it was but I recognized it from the picture! I used to be friend's with the girl next door in elementary school (the house on your left when you are in the street). I don't know if her parents still live there though.
