Does ANYONE Have or Know of a 1/2 Bedroom Apartment for rent?
Someone on the board is looking and is having NO luck because she has a child. Can you believe that people will flat out say NO kids? Nevermind there are laws against that. Does anyone have or know of anyone that is renting out an apartment that includes all for around $1,000 with a tub? Please let me know!! Craigs List, etc. are looked at daily and I'm aware of all the other sites too. Thanks 
ETA: Suffolk, if you know of one please post it or FM. Not looking for ideas of places to look, already have that covered. Thank you

Someone at my job posted this...not sure if she'd be interested:
First floor of house, one bedroom, eat in kitchen, full bathroom, living room w/ sliding glass doors to deck, private entrance, cellar for storage w/ washer and drier, use of private back yard, walk to all/ LIRR (no smokers/ dogs please)...........$1,150 per month

Has she checked the PennySaver? Also, church bulletins from local churches often have apartments advertised in them.

One thing I always had luck with is going to the Pennysaver office-its in Syosset/Woodbury and getting all the pennysavers for the areas you are interested in. They come out Tuesday I believe...but she should call to confirm-its been years since I did it
