Does anyone have this storage organizer (or something like it) in their playroom?

We're redoing our office to make it an office/playroom (looking good so far!) and it's small so we need some organization that doesn't take up too much space. Does anyone have this storage organizer (found it on the target website) or something like it?

External Image

It's cute and looks compact but i'm just wondering if something with actual doors or baskets concealing everything is a better idea (for looks and for DD so she doesn't want to play with 100 things at once)? Any input would be great.

We have that in the primary colors and i LOVE it. It hold sooo much and is great for organizing things. And it's slim, so it doesn't take up a lot of space.

My mom has this at her house and it works great but DD's aren't over there all that often.

For our house we have a closed toy box. It contained all the toys for a little bit until DD#1 figured out how to open it and now all her toys are all over the place anyway.

The only thing about that one is it doesn't hold big toys. The bins aren't very big.

it great for small things, holds a ton.

For Eddie its perfect for cars, some characters that go with playsets, little people, that kind of thing.

Us to! It has been a lifesaver on many occasions as they can see everything in the boxes.

I have it and it's great bc DS can clean take out a bin then clean up on his own (well in principle anyway) - he sees where the toys belong and what goes where

we have it - when he was NB, it held all the creams/lotions/diapers/pacifiers/bibs. we've since repurposed it to hold toys! ours is espresso wood with natural canvas colored bins - its just fine in our LR. Hey, a baby lives here. no biggie!

I own the same one and I love it!! It has totally kept our playroom organized. It is great for lots of little things (puzzle pieces, pretend play food, etc.).

My friend has that in her playroom for her daughter. I actually saw it in Target the other day. looks like an easy clean up and great place for storage.

I'm a little late to respond, but we also have one for DS and it works really well. It is sturdy enough for him to pull up on, it is easy for him to get toys out of and is also easy to put things away!

We have this one, too. It's great, because it's in the corner of our living room, but it's not in the way. It actually looks great there--keeps everything organized but doesn't scream "playroom".

Just so you know, about every 3 weeks it goes on sale at target for like $39. Not sure if you want to wait, but just thought i'd mention it. Chat Icon

Re: Does anyone have this storage organizer (or something like it) in their playroom?

We have that in DD's room. It's easy for her to get to her toys.

I have a toy chest downstairs, which she doesn't go into unless we open it. The I have a book shelf also with 2 drawers that, if she wants a toy, she dumps the ENTIRE drawer out. Chat Icon

So, I think that's the perfect option for a bedroom. You want her to be able to play with the toys without your help. She can just grab whatever toy she wants.
