Does anyone know how to create a DVD of pictures?
My mom is trying to put together a photo show of my grandmother's life for her 80th b-day party and we don't know how to put the pictures onto a DVD so we can play it at the party.
Does anyone how to do this?

You can make a montage on OneTrueMedia.com
It is not free I don't think, but if you would have to buy a program anyway then you can buy a short-term membership. It also walks you through it and you can add music.

Use Windows Movie Maker. If you don't already have it in your programs I believe there is a free download.

Use Windows Movie Maker. If you don't already have it in your programs I believe there is a free download.
windows movie maker on xp doesn't burn dvds
you should have some type of program on your computer that can burn dvd's
sonic, roxio, nero or some examples...
if you can determine which software you have and which verison, i can help you out.
pretty much, you want to author a dvd with pictures. most programs i listed below as you to import pictures then burn as a movie.
what julz mention is you can make your own picture montage with Windows Movie Maker (comes with every XP, Vista machine) then take the output of that to your burner..
if you in in my area, i can do it for you if its in a rush, otherwise, there are places online as an above poster said where you can get them made... honestly, you should have what you need if you computer is not that old. (if it came with software)

I use onetruemedia.com and then just buy the DVD's.

Yes, thats what I meant!
I made a few myself with XP. I used Nero to do the actual burning but used Windows Movie Maker to make the montage with music and effects.
