Does anyone know how to fix the mouse on a laptop?
I was using my laptop and all of the sudden the mouse stopped working.

- finger pointer in center of keyboard
- touch scroll beneath the keyboard
- wireless
- wired

My dad had the same problem a few weeks ago. It just stopped 'seeing' the mouse. He needed to resync the mouse with the computer.

I don't know too much about laptops but I think its the touch scroll beneath the keyboard.

I would try using a "regular" USB mouse for now, just to make sure that Windows can still recognize a mouse. Plus, it lets you use Windows in the meantime, and makes it much easier to try things.

Forgive me if this is obvious. I just got a new lap top recently and right above the touch pad square, there is a recessed button. I must have hit it once by accident and it disables the touch pad. Do you have that?
