Does anyone know of any good thrift stores in LI?
I'm looking for some items (dressers, tables, etc) and I would love something vintage that I can paint myself. All the thrift stores in the city are overpriced. Does anyone know of any on LI or the area that have actual thrift store pricing? TIA

Does anyone know of any good thrift stores in LI?
I've been to St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop but not in a while so I don't know their pricing.
I googled "thrift stores on long island" and a ton of others popped up.

In addition to St. Vincent De Paul, there's one on Oak St. in Amityville. I believe it's called S&P used furniture.
ETA: I know both work with DSS for people who need furniture through emergency assistance, so I don't think they are super overpriced.
Also check out Salvation Army. I've seen good stuff in the one on Rt. 109 in West Babylon.

unique thrift in westbury has a pretty big selection. I think on mondays everything is like 20% off.

There is a store in Riverhead, near the aquarium called the red collection that has amazing stuff. Most of it is on consignment, some very high end older pieces.

Yes!! I made DH pull over so I could go in after our trip to the aquarium they had such unique stuff! Lots of furniture.
