Does Anyone Know of Any Last Minute DOE Elem Ed Jobs in Queens?
I have a friend who lives on Long Island and travels into the Bronx daily for work. She's been teaching 17 years. She's in a god awful school and NEEDS to get out! She's a very good teacher and has a strong background in math and computers as well.
Anyone know of anything?

Isn't it too late to transfer with Open Market being closed?

Isn't it too late to transfer with Open Market being closed?
You know, I'm not really sure. I know open market closed on a certain date and then stayed open to excessed staff. So, I'm not sure if there's any way around that now for transfers.

You can't transfer now without principal approval unfortunately. Unless she's an ATR there's no access to open market at this time.

Yes, that's right-you'd need approval from the principal. I'm sure she'd get it so once again, if anyone knows of anything please let me know.
