I wear Biomedics 38 --they are more comfortable for me than Acuvue-they are very thin, but some people love Acuvue.
Biomedic is sort of a generic brand--it is sold under different names, such as Versaflex & Ultraflex (which is what mine are now, but they are the same thing.)
However, they are different than Accuve.
Your eye Dr. should be able to give you samples if you want to switch brands.

I actually had Biomedics and then switched to AcuVue - i have dry eyes and both brands seemed to help. AcuVue was something my eye dr. suggested since they were newer than the Biomedics

I recently switched to Biomedics since my Acuvue Hydroclear contacts were irritating my eyes to the point that I would rather walk around blind than having to wear them. I love them so far! I think they are much more softer. I use the monthly ones.
