Does anyone know the name of the organization that collects dresses for the prom?
I have tried selling DSDs sweet 16 dress(for a very low price) and it hasn't worked. I wish one of the other girls in our family could wear it someday but the girls that are younger than her are already taller. The dress is so big it takes up half of her closet and now we are buying her prom dress and I want to free up the space.
I know there is a group that collects dresses to give to girls for the prom, I tried googling but I didn't find anything.

Have you tried contacting her high school? Maybe they will be collecting this year. If not, maybe they know of a school that does.

Bloomingdales had an event where they did this last year i donated a bunch of dresses I'm not sure if they do it every year though

The Town of Brookhaven collects them. I think it's through the Youth Bureau

I donated some bridesmaid dresses to family service league in huntington. I think they have several locations though.

yep, family service league and the town building if the same councilwomen is running it in the town of huntington
