Does anyone know where I can buy a plain wooden toy chest?
I was thinking AC Moore or Michaels or something, but thought I would ask here first.
I want to be able to paint on it, so I need it to be plain.

for some reason i remember someone telling me they got theirs at gothic cabinet...the one on 110 in farmingdale!

I have made a few hand paint toy chests for my nieces and nephews.
There is an unfinished wood furniture store in Smithtown on Main Street.
I also got one at Gothic but last time I went there I found the only ones they had to be really fancy or $$$.
Micheals/ACmoore is the best price wise but it might be smaller than you are looking for.

If you're going to go to Michaels or AC Moore (they both have them, so that's a good place to go), make sure you go online to AC Moore's website and print out the 40% off coupon they currently have running.
