Does Anyone or Has Anyone Had a Problem With Their Summer Infant Day-Night Video Monitor?

I've had mine for a year and a half. The battery dies all the time QUICKLY. I just ordered a new battery. Summer customer service said if I had called before a year they would have sent it for free. My bad:)

Anyway, besides the battery, do any of you find that you need to move and adjust the plug that goes into it to get a connection sometimes? It gets all staticky for me at times and it sometimes seems like its not taking the charge. I am beginning to think there is something wrong, beyond the battery. Anybody else with this problem?

I had a problem with my first one where there was constant staticy sound so you could barely hear anything else. Since it was only a few months old they let me send it back and sent me a relpacement.

That one had a problem with the camera - the edges were blurry and sort of blacked out.

They sent me another one and this time the moniter part had no picture at all.

And then finally they sent me one that seems to be fine.

So, yes, I have had problems - but they were very good about trying to correct it.

I haven't had this problem with mine (yet), but I have seen posts where people were talking about the battery issue.
