Does anyone use/rent a doppler from FETALSURE?
I had a question....
I noticed I wasnt being billed monthly and I have had the unit like 3 months. am afraid they are going to bill me all at once at the end , want to be prepared.

Sorry I did not use them, but I would call & find out what they intend to do & ask if you can maybe pay for the time you have already used to date.

I don't have a doppler but back in the beginning I was looking to rent one also. BUT - I just saw yesterday that they sell them at Babies R us and they weren't that expensive. Are the rentable ones better? I guess I am asking for the future.

hmmm, the good ones are quite expensive. ( few hundred $)
You might have seen those bebe ones I think they are, they dotn work till like the end of the pregnancy I heard.

I asked Dr. H. She said she bought one of the $30 ones at BRU or something & that there was soooo mcuh background noise that even she had a hard time finding a HB on herself.
I never tried it personally so I cannot say for sure, but I love the babybeats one I have. It is so clear!

My doc said the same thing.
"Don't get the ones at CVS or a Baby store because they are a waste of money and they will stress you out."
But my Babybeats one has been great.
So great, that I'm extending my 3 month rental to keep for a little longer!!

I would DIE if I didnt have mine for re-assurance!
And now it takes me less then 1 second to find the HB!

And now it takes me less then 1 second to find the HB!
Don't make me jealous!!! I wanted one but DH really didn't want me to get it. He thought it would make me even more paranoid if I couldn't find the HB. It gets to the point where I am so anxious for the next doctors appointment just to hear the little heartbeat!

NO....That ( not being able to find the heartbeat) Only happens at the very beginning when the baby is small.
At your point, you will ALWAYS be able to find it. It takes a second or two max and its sooo easy, always in the same spot.
I think it would make you feel soooo much better.
Since week 12 I have used it about every day and never once had troubel finding the HB in more then a few seconds.
