Does anyone watch "Keeping Up With the Kardashians"? Can someone explain it to me?
I never watched it before but caught 2 episodes today b/c they were having a marathon. I am completely dumbfounded.
The only person on that show with any sense of intelligence or class is Bruce Jenner.
I cannot believe the mother (dont even know her name) was pushing Kim to go nude in a Playboy shoot when it seemed she really didnt want to do it and than wound up doing it anyway. And her reasoning behind it made me want to bang my head against the wall  "You'll make a lot of money" "It will be good experience" W T F!!!! The best was when the other daughter says "yeh, you want her to do it b/c you'll make the 10% managers commission"  It seems like the mother is trying to live vicariously through her children.
And what is with the stripper pole in the bedroom? Who's bedroom is that anyway?
And in the same episode where the mother and 3 daughters were doing the shoot in Mexico for Girls Gone Wild  the two youngest girls were at home dancing on the strippers pole lifting up their shirts while Brody Jenner's manager was filming them. Does anyone else find that to be skeevy and borderline child pornography??? And at the photo shoot they were trying to tell Bruce that it was being done with class. What is their definition of having class???? 
I tivo'd the rest of the episodes b/c I cannot believe this show or these people. What are they even celebrities for? B/c their father got a cold-blooded murderer off

Everytime DH and I see this show on TV he says two things:
1. Kim is HOT!   (I think she is a brain-dead, materialistic, bimbo)
2. And..... that Bruce Jenner looks like the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz!

Totally tacky and classless - but if they were normal and had some class they probably wouldn't have a reality show - I think the more trashy the show the most people watch and comment on it and the better the ratings...but your synopsis basically sums up the little I saw, I think the Girls gone wild thing was a swim suit shoot for some line of suits that he was trying to sell - but I could be wrong I only saw about 3 mins of that episode.

I don't know about that. I only saw 1 episode & Bruce was talking to Khloe about his sex live with her their mother! That's his step-daughter! I think she was about 7 when he married her mother, so she grew up with him. So inappropriate!
That same episode, they were in New Orleans, and a teenage fan came up to Kim, I don't think her mom knew who they were, but they befriended them, & later Kim introduced them to her boyfriend, Reggie Bush, the kids were [i]so[/i] star struck. I was laughing, b/c being a football player, he is the [i]real[/i] celebrity to a kid.
