Does anyone work for the post office
I have to mail out these calendars to clients and I cant figure out to use the freaking postage machine at work. It wont read anything over two lbs. I can put in the weight but Im not sure exactly how I should now be packaging them. I have them packaged in 12" x 16" envelopes.
They weigh like 11oz each and Im just getting so freaking annoyed. I went to the post office and the lady told me to send them parcel, but the postage machine doesnt give it as an option. It does give priority tho, but Im not sure how Im suppose package them (does it have to be in a priority envelope & does it need a special barcode) and can I just estimate the wieght like say to the next highest weight?
My mgr said the girl last year sent them out priority but she cant say much more than that. She said I could also look into sending DHL. Im going to assume she may have sent them out priority flat rate, but does that only go up to a certain rate/weight? I have already tried to contact the 800 number for usps and they didnt help very much.
IIm sorry if this is confusing. It just seems extremely tedious.
Thanks for letting me vent. TIA if anyone has any info to help me.
