I am planning on making a recipe that has penne with sauce, mixed with sausage, mushrooms, scalliions. I wont be around to enjoy the leftovers though. Do you think this would freeze alright?

I would just freeze the extra sauce and the next time you want to eat it just boil fresh pasta andthaw and heat the sauce on the stove!

I made a meat lazagna from scratch once and froze it. When I put it in the oven to bake (after i dethawed it)...there was too much water from defrosting. As previous posters sade, freeze sauce and heat pasta easier that way!
