Does DH share your pregnancy symptons?
When I say I want a chocolate milkshake, he comes back with TWO (one for him)
When I am hungry--so is he
When I am tired- so is her
Now...he wants my Snoogle!
Is he going to give birth with me?

DH gained probably about 30 pounds with me during the first pregnancy! this time he started taking off as soon as he heard about the BFP! LOL

yup, I was holding my belly the other day after a good kick and turned around to see him grab his belly and tell me it hurts, and was serious
Along with all my other symptoms...

My DH is exactly the same way. He takes naps with me and gets cravings for whatever I want to eat. It's so cute!

He shares teh weight gain too
He feels left out when i have cravings, so he can't sit watch me eat ice cream and not help himself

Ever since DH read about "Couvade" in his Caveman's Guide to Pregnancy Book, he keeps claiming he has it.
For those of you unfamiliar with the term (as I was 2 weeks ago):
Couvade is the phenomenon where the expectant father experiences somatic symptoms during the pregnancy for which there is no recognized physiological basis.
Symptoms commonly include indigestion, increased or decreased appetite, weight gain, diarrhea or constipation, headache, and toothache...
More recent studies have shown that the male partner cohabitating with a pregnant female will experience hormonal shifts in his prolactin, cortisol, estrogen and testoterone levels; typically starting at the end of the first trimester and continuing through several weeks post-partum.
So now whenever DH has ice cream or is sleepy or cranky he yells "It's the Couvade!!!"

I show dh my belly every night, and then he shows me his and says look my belly is growing faster then urs lol
hes gaining weight since we found out we're prego just so i dont diet alone later...
i cant be mad at that.

in the beginning, when i was extremely exhausted so was dh. taking naps all the time with me!!
the day we found out it was twins, he threw up-but that may have just been nerves.

My DH doesn't, but I swear this girl in my office does! I tease her all the time that she's pregnant...her back hurts, she's tired, she craves the same foods...

JK!!! He really does need a bella band for that woobie he's got. And as for the snoogle thing, that is totally up his alley!
Did you expect him NOT to eat everything you do, if not more?
