Does this sound about right for a first doctor's visit?

Does this sound about right for a first doctor's visit?
They have me scheduled for the 24th. Is that about right? I just got my BFP yesterday and I understand that they do not frequently see you immediately.
Just wondering if that is standard? I guess I must be impatient but that seems like a wait to me.

That sounds about right. When was the first day of your last period? Usually they wait until your 7-8 wks for your first visit (although some will have you come in after you get your BFP to see a nurse for bloodwork and paperwork).

Yup! It's the most nerve-wracking few weeks, but that's pretty normal

my dr saw me for the 1st visit at 8 weeks......congrats on your BFP!!!

My last period was Dec 5th and they did not bother to ask that come to think of it. Oh well.
