Does this sound like a decent price for a minivan? Minivan moms come in
We are getting the Chrsyler Town and Country.
Fully loaded - two dvd players, back up camera, remote start, heated leather seats etc.
2100 down/374 a month. This is for a lease.
Thanks! I called a few other Chryslers and it sounds like a fair price to me, just want to compare to other minivan moms!

We have the 2009 T&C anniversary edition; however, we financed & bought it. The price you got does seem fair. What dealer are you using? I know you're in the same area...we found Security to give the best deal.

I don't put money down on leases. Are you putting money down for a lower monthly paymt?
IMO, putting money down on a lease is like giving them money. Unless you plan to buy it out at the end of the lease.

I agree, see what the price is for no money down. Usually it is $10 for every $1,000 I think. Also, how many miles are you getting?

Yea...... I agree with Sweets. I bought my car. Got lucky with a base model that came with automatic lift gate n doors n remote start. No $ down for 330 a month. The dvd package I got for $250..outside of dealer. Those things is where they mark up to make their $. The backup camera is so not necessart imo.

12K a year - for three years.
I've always put money down on leases, not sure why - just do. I guess to keep the payments lower. I'm clueless when it comes to this stuff

It's actually just under $20 a month per $1000 when leasing.
Sounds like a fair price IMO. Our van cost less but we put $1500 down in order to keep the monthly payment in a comfortable range for us.
We just leased the Grand Caravan almost fully loaded and got a great price.

12K doesn't seem like a lot of miles. I would try to negotiate that up to 15K if possible. I haven't leased in ages so maybe this isn't possible anymore.

Yes. That's a good price!
12K is now the norm for mileage.
But you said it was fully loaded. And since you are only putting $2100 down, then yes, it's good for a fully loaded minivan.
I am sure you will love it.
I picked up my new car last week. I was like a kid in a candy store.

I agree with every except that a backup camera not being a necessity. I have had them for the last 2 cars before the one I am driving now and I have to tell you, I get very nervous leaving the kids school parking lot. You know never if a kid is going to run away from a parent. Even my own kids, I get nervous moving my cars around if need be and they are usually inside if it needs to be done.
Although for a lease, the $2100 sounds like it might taxes, registeration and 1 month. I don't see anything wrong with putting those items down. Anything more then it isn't worth it. I think you got a great price. I know when we were looking at Honda and Toyota minivans. With 0 down for the same pacakge you got there were between $600-$700 a month. That is why I steered a way from them. Plus there was no chance I was buying it.
