We're having some relatives up for L's birthday in a week and a half. Does this sound good?

Penne a la vodka (made by me!)

Big salad

Italian Bread /garlic bread

fried chicken (bought)

either sausage and peppers or eggplant parm (made by my mommy)

What do you usually serve at parties? Oh and this isn't her kiddie party, it's just adults. TIA! Chat Icon

That sounds good to me.

When I was growing up the food at our family parties was always baked ziti and heros.

The menu looks great. If you don't think it's enough, the only other thing I'd possibly add is a vegetable dish (steamed veggies) or potatoes to go with the chicken. I don't really think you need it though.

Sounds delish! And exactly like what I'll be making for my kids family party too!

I was going to say the same thing - I think the menu is perfect but I would add a vegetable (maybe broccoli or asparagus); but it sounds great!
