Does your DC always cry when you put him/her to sleep?
My ds (5 months) ALWAYS cries when I put him down to sleep. I put him down the second I see him yawn, nuzzle my neck, or rub his eyes (his tired signs) so he's not overtired. If I don't let him cry for a few minutes he would never sleep.
Does anyone else experience this? Will he grow out of it? Is it something I can fix? I just feel sad that he has to cry to fall asleep.

My daghter is 2.5 and still cries almost every night...not much, but enough. I think some kids just need to burn some energy before going to bed..cause Lord knows there is NOTHING wrong!!

I agree with Mrs R. My son used to cry to sleep, he only stopped doing this around 2 or 3 months ago (he just turned 2) he just was disappointed that his Mommy and Daddy were leaving him! Now he sings himself to sleep. Its very cute.

my son does this at 8 weeks old. He will cry with all his might for about 5 minutes, mind you he is in may arms being rocked the whole time. Then he just dies out and goes to sleep. I have accepted it as part of his routine.
