Does your DC cry everytime they go the the Ped?

My DS is perfectly fine and happy until he gets in the room he starts whaling the whole time. I wasn't sure if everyone's DC does this or does DS hate the ped office as much as mommy lol.

No sorry Andrew is all smiles until they put the thing in his ear to check and then he gets upset because it makes him cough.

Kaitee started this at 14 months. She starts screaming when we put her on the scale. It breaks my heart because she clings on to me

DD went through a phase like this from about 10 mths-14 mths. Now, at 20 mths she loves the dr and the office and usually we have no problems with her being upset.

he doesnt cry but he put two and two together and gets very serious once we enter the exam room. no matter what the ped does, he wont crack a smile

Yes. Sarah has this terrified "I'm being murdered" cry/scream that she does pretty much only at the doctor's office. So embarrassing. When she was about 18 months old the doctor we usually see told me he was going to put a megaphone sticker on her chart to warn the other doctors in the practice that she's a screamer.

DS does not cry, until he sees a needle. If he has to get a shot, which is rare, she puts it in his chart so he cannot see it.

Yup, screams until we walk out the door although the doc told me after 2 it gets better, we'll find out!

DS is 18 months and does this all the time. He is fine when we get there but as soon as we get into the room he starts. He was never liked this until he realized what was going on (which was before he was 1).

Noooo....they're usually thrilled to see him as long as they are told if there are shots or not (which I'm honest about).

So they love the doctor. However, the nurse is relegated to doing his dirty work (shots), so they're not happy to see her.

DD is all smiles until one the staff wants to do anything with her. Whether it's weighing her, taking her temperature or getting a shot, the screams are all the same.

OMG...yes! Sometimes I can't even hear the doctor. Once the doctor walks in, she is just a wreck until we get outside.

DD only cried the first few times after her hospital stay. She was terrified of all women (esp nurses after the hospital, but was all smiles for her doctor. I guess because it's the nurses that actually did all the stuff to her at the hospital and the doctor just would talk to me.)

She seems to be going back to normal - which is that she doesn't care at all.

Not the second we walk in, but when the ped starts examing her she starts to freak out. She hates, hates, HATES it when he checks her hip flexors. it looks like he's trying to crack her like a wishbone.

Juliette will be three and still does. Kris loves them and smiles the entire time.

I know that they are going to make her cry - the have to do part 2 of that test where they take blood from her heel....

Not until her ped picks her up and says "Kaitlyn smile for me" then she looks at him and lets out a HUGE scream That started back at about 3 or 4 months and has continued thru each visit.

Otherwise only while she gets her shots but that lasts maybe 30 seconds or less.

DS never crys, he just smiles & lets the nurse and doctor do whatever is needed. (Of course he crys when he gets his shots, but that only lasts a minute).
