Does your DC let you kiss them
sometimes he does but other times he turns his head or pushes anyone away...Is this normal(he is almost 1) also what I have noticed (but not when I go kiss him) he will hit and pull my hair and he laughs...and my jackass husband would laugh also... which I know does NOT HELP!

DS is only 10 weeks so he has no choice, LOL
My sister said my niece has never been cuddly and into kisses (she is 20 months) she isn't mean in any way just very independent, I don't think it's a problem just who they are. The hitting an hair pulling I would be talking to DH about, it would bother me that he was encouraging it by laughing.

Not usually -- and she will NOT kiss, EVER. Rarely I can coax a hug out of her, but it is definitely given begrudgingly.
Fortunately she is the same or worse with everyone, otherwsie I'd have a complex!

my DS will be 19 months this week. he started getting really affectionate within the last couple of months. now he always wants to cuddle and hug and kiss me...i love every minute of it

My sons (7 and 5) are HUGE mushes. They are always looking for hugs, kisses and snuggles.
BUT.. Robbie did go through a brief time when he was probably a little over a year when he didn't want to kiss me or cuddle. I remember it REALLY upset me - but I just let it be. I'd still wrap him in a hug or a kiss and he'd submit occassionally without a struggle.. and then he just got super mushy again and has remained that way since!

Usually, but he doesn't kiss back. He did, at about 9 months old, but then stopped doing it. The funny, affectionate thing he will do is he'll come in and put his face right in mine, forehead to forehead and give me a big smile. For me, it's as good as getting a kiss.

my dd loves to give kisses...the best is when she is playing and will stop, come over and kiss me and then go back to playing without saying a word...those mean alot
normally, I have to ask for a kiss but she will give me one

Yes, he loves giving kisses. But it took a while. I think he was probably close to 2 when he started giving them freely.

Kaydyn is not affectionate at all. She will occasionally kiss us and hug us...but it's few and far between. She's like that with everyone though.

Yes, unless he is playing with a toy and I steal him from it for kisses.
He kisses me all the time - but it's a big raspberry on the cheek - or any exposed skin

My DD asks for and gives kisses all the time but it's only on the lips when she's especially affectionate. She turns her head to get it on the cheek. DH and I think she learned that from when we greet our friends.

Yes. DD will give kisses...most of the time I have to ask and/or steal them, but she will occasionally plant one on me!!
And she ALWAYS blows kisses goodbye when I leave for work

Yes DS is very cuddly and loves kisses and hugs, if I say I am going to kiss him he turns his cheek to me and leans in.
But some kids are different my niece was very independent and liked her personal space. She wasnt the huggy kissy type, she was actually a baby who cried to be put down not held.

My lil boy loves to give kisses to his mommy and addy. Everyone else, eh will stick his cheek out to so they can kiss him.
