does your newborn love tv?
o man if she gets her eyes on it, it is over, so we watch sesame street everyday, and she laughs so hard at it... i am like ummmmmmmmm you are not even 3 months old yet???? anyone elses kid like tv??

Yes. I try so hard to not let him see it, but if he does, that's all he wants to look at. He loves his baby einstein too-I don't want him to watch TV, but DH has to put it on in the morning to keep him occupied while he gets ready for work and I'm already gone. He 3.5 months.

My DD LOVES it!!!! When she was younger and had colic, we used to put on a Baby Einstein DVD just so we could eat quick. It was one of the only things that calmed her down. Now at 9 months.....the first thing she looks at when we enter the living room is the TV, even if it's off. I must admit, I use the TV for background noise so it's my fault!!

The news is on in the morning before they get up, DH watches it and the biz report. If I don't turn it off before I take them down to the den for the first feeding they will turn their heads while feeding in the boppy toward the tv. If they are not interested I watch the news and then it goes off.
I'll watch the news again at noon when they are down for their nap but otherwise no tv yet for them. I have it off if they are in the den.

YES!!!! He loves Baby Einstein, Dora, Go Diego and the Backyardigans. He laughs and coo's and gets so excited. I usually let him watch it in the morning while I make the bed, eat breakfast, or try to get some stuff done.

Troy LOVES watching TV. I say he's just like his dad, b/c when he sees it, he is in a trance!
I tried feeding him, he caught sight of the TV and wanted nothing to do w/ the bottle....that's not like him!!

Yes. He does. I try to limit it to Sesame Street though, it is on at 8am and I drink my coffee and clean up my house (and go on LIF)

ds loves it! He loves Jack's big music show!! and it was great help with the torticollis ---we held him so he had to turn his head to the left

We have a big plasma on the wall in the living room, so there is really no way to keep DD from watching tv....of course, once she sees something on it, she gets fixated

Anything on Noggin - except Oobi... those hands creep me out! He LOVES Pinky Dinky Doo... as soon as he hears the theme song he jumps up and down in his exersaucer and laughs - it's hilarious. We don't let him watch TOO much TV, but we'll let him sneak in a half hour here and there... I don't like to admit it's helpful, but a girls gotta eat!
He loves the Red Sox games too... already a sports fan!

Bella's liked TV from the beginning. It's my fault. I need to have it on even if it is just on in the background. She loves Playhouse Disney, especially Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Handy Manny. She'll watch anything with music also.

We have a huge plasma so there is no avoiding it but she only watches for about a minute and goes back to her toys. She really could care less. She would rather play with her toes.
Unless of course, we happen to turn to Nascar or golf- for some reason she loved both of these.

Wow... I was just going to post this... DD is obsessed with the TV! Its her new thing!! DH and I always have the tv on... its a background thing I guess... but lately DD is fixated on it! She stops bfing to turn to look at it... DH keeps covering her eyes... he's worried that she shouldnt be watching tv!  Its bright, colorful and lots of sound.. why wouldnt she be interested?! LOLOL
