Dog Bite
Has your dog ever gone to growl or bite you? MY dog has never been aggressive before..bit me yesterday because I tried to take something out of his mouth. I am so upset..

Break that habit now, even if you have to hire a trainer. I unfortunatly did not get help with mine, and now 10yrs later he will just lay on your lap and if you pet him the wrong way he will snap at you. Even my vet says that unfortunately its his nature, and when people come over he goes in his crate.

YEP. My dog has been diagnosed as a "resource guarder." There is lots of information online and there is a book called MINE. Your dog values some items highly and feels threatened when they are taken away. We had training. Training is slow going for this but it has done a lot for us. Let me know if you need more info. Dogs who are like this can be wonderful in every other way but this aspect has to come under control!
