Dog in need of Donations
Hi All-
This is my 1st time posting on this board & it is to ask all of you dog lovers to please help. My cousins Jack Russel, Savvanah, has been diagnosed w/cancer & she wanted to me ask anyone I could to please donate. TIA
This is the email I got this morning from her:
Dear Friends and family
we have recently got a diagnosis on our "puppy" of transitional cell carcinoma. It is a malignant tumor in the bladder and it is spreading. Her cancer specialist told us that the only way to treat this is through Chemotherapy which will have a %75 success rate of full recovery which she will live a great 4-5 years, otherwise she has limited time to live. (4 months)
The chemotherapy is $300 per session, 2 sessions a week, for the duration of 6 weeks.
I am sending this email to you as a humble request for assistance/donation of any amount that you could spare to help pay for our puppies treatment so that she has a chance at life.
The reason for this request is due to the urgency of treatment.
This has been devastating to John and I and asking for help has never been our forte, however, desperate times call for desperate measures and we have both swallowed our pride for this request because our puppy means the world to us.
If you can help us in any way, please email me and I will provide you with our mailing address or account number or if it makes you feel better I can provide you with the Hospital's info so that you can send the donations directly to her specialist. Please also spread the word to any dog lovers or anyone you may know that could also help.

Maybe she can make a website so it could seem more formal? I would love to help but hesitate with just an email, kwim?

I understand completely... I think if you email her she can give you the hospitals info & you can donate directly to her specialist.

you cousin can make a chip in and all the money goes into a paypal account. www.chipin.com
Rescue organizations use it and I used it when i was trying to raise money for my friend's foster dog.
