I've never tried the doggy versions, but the whitening ("blueing" actually) shampoos that they make for horses really do work. You just can't leave them on the hair too long before rinsing because you can wind up with purple instead of white hair.

whitening shampoo really does work. just make sure you keep it in for the recommended time and don't just wash it out right away. alot of them say don't put near the eyes so you'll have to get a tearless shampoo as well for the face.
