Dog Trainer recommendation near Stony Brook
We rescued my German Shepherd almost 2 months ago. Overall, he's terrific. Within the last week, he has shown some behaviors that I'm not liking (lunged twice and two people with a growl, his hair on his neck goes up). I want to deal with this before it gets worse. He seems SUPER protective of me.
So I'm looking for a trainer/behaviorist for him. TIA

Dogworks in Holbrook. I know it isn't in Stonybrook exactly but the owner has German shepherds and I think she will be very helpful to you since she understands the breed.
