Dog treats
What do you give your dog as treats?
We do 2 baby carrots a day (between lunch and dinner and then about 2 hours after dinner - she loves them!) and the occasional Kong with some peanut butter smeared around the inside.
What types of snackies or treats do you give?

Re: Dog treats
We always mix peanut butter & plain yogurt then freeze it in either a kong or hollow bone. She LOVES it and it keeps her busy for a while!

Re: Dog treats
I always throw cheerios in her bowl in the morning when I am eating breakfast to get her to eat, we also use the kong filled with her food and sealed with peanut butter on occasion, and then just dog biscuits.

Re: Dog treats
My dogs love cereal. They go nuts for cereal but we don't make a habit of it.
We do give mint smelling chew treats for their dental health (forget the name). They go nuts for them. Also some biscuits and cookies for dogs by Mrs. Hubbard (I think).
Apples. I take off the skin and they go nuts for apples, follow me around the house if eat an apple.
A bite of meat, or cheese occasionally. And I too give them Frosty Paws here and there in the summer, they love that. And they love LOVE ice cubes, but I break the cubes with a nutcracker and give them bits (I worry about them choking).

Re: Dog treats
Roxy gets baby carrots, chicken jerky (the kind from Costco), and lactose free american cheese in the Kong (regular cheese gives her horrible gas). She will also get any type of vegetable that I'm cutting up or whatever, like cucumber, peppers, lettuce, etc. Once in a while we'll give her some peanut butter because its hilarious to watch her eat it. She does not get rawhide or anything like that and does not like any type of biscuit for some reason so no Milkbones, etc.
One day a week she gets a scrambled egg.

Re: Dog treats
Milk Bones If she behaves while we eat dinner, she gets the tiniest scrap of our food in her bowl afterwards.
