Dogs and Children
I have a pit bull (7mnths) and a black lab, pitbull mix (2 years)? Anyone have any ideas how they will be when I have kids, from experience?

Re: Dogs and Children
I have a boxer pit mix and a toy poodle. My pit is MUCH better with kids than my poodle. Porter (the pit) is around my niece and nephews all the time. They all chase eachother. He is great with them. Lucky (our Poodle) on the other hand is HORRBILE with kids. He bit my niece twice.

Re: Dogs and Children
I have a Rottweiler 1.5 and she is amazing with my DD of 4months. She loves her and I can't wait for the day when they can run together. I also have a cat and she is good with the baby, doesn't really notice her or go near her, which is good but cats are more cautious that way too. As for the dog, we allow her near the baby but no licking, but sometimes the dog can't help it.
