Dominant Follicle while stimming question
Hi Ladies, I am hoping some of you that have done IVF already can help me out. I have done three days of stims (tonight will be 4). I went to Dr. this morning. I have 12 follicles...which I think is good. The bad part now... 11 of them are just under 10mm, but then there's 1 that is dominant at 19mm. From what I understand, this can go two ways. The little ones can catch up or the big fat one can be greedy and steal all the meds and get really big. If the latter happens the cycle would most likely be cancelled. Now I'm nervous as I already had a cancelled cycle due to ovulating on BCP. So my question....has anyone had a positive outcome with a dominant follicle. Is there any hope? Sorry for the rant........just hoping someone can give me some positive experiences.

Re: Dominant Follicle while stimming question
I think most likely they will let the big one keep growing, so the others will grow to the right size. That way they will loose the 19mm and be able to get the others. My first IVF cycle, I had one larger follicle, but my others kept growing. I think if there are so many at 11, you will be fine!
