Donation Pick ups
I have baby items that I wanted to donate and have called churches, several donation places, and no one is available to pick my items up. Anyone have a number I can call that can pickup donations?
I have a used high chair, used stroller, and a new bouncer which we setup for our daughter but she never used it. These items have been sitting in my basement and I wanted to donate them without being sold. I’m at the point where I’m about to just put it on the curb. How can it be this hard to give away free items??

I put out a day or 2 before garbage pickup and usually they always get taken by someone

This. Anything I post to the FB Marketplace for free gets picked up pretty quickly.
Lupus Foundation also just started picking up again as well so you can also see if a truck will be in your area soon.

facebook marketplace or see if your town has a buy nothing/swap fb group - baby stuff goes quick!

Yep, use fb or an app to give it away. I don't think most donation places take those items bc there are regulations against it. I believe bc of potential recalls or safety issues.

We donate to the veterans. They have started picking up again. I have a bunch of stuff for them ready to go. Just waiting for DH to get some more stuff from the attic.
