I feed Noah a heck of a lot of pasta, filled pasta, tuna pasta, penne with tomato sauce. Also, we do fish fingers, beans (Heinz beans, they are a staple of the UK's child diet) sometimes I feed him Spaghetti O's (as a treat) and then I give him more pasta.
Pasta, pasta, pasta.

I make tuna pasta with a cheese sauce, it has small kiddy sized pieces of pasta with the tuna mixed into the cheese sauce, also I put corn and peas into it.
You should get an Annabel Karmel book, her toddler recipes are great.
Also, I let Noah tell me what he can and can't do. I am not scared of him choking or gaggin, I believe that you need to choke and gag a little bit to learn how to move the food to the back of your mouth. He eats tortellini whole, or he bites a piece off.
eta, he can eat with a fork and a spoon, but he prefers to use his fingers. Fine with me.

snacks: pretzels, puffs, cheerios, crackers, and tons of fruit. She's crazy for strawberries, blueberries & grapes.
lunch/dinner: she usually eats a little of whatever we're having but some favorites that I'll make just for her are grilled cheese, mac & cheese, tofu, spinach gnocchi, pasta of any sort. She recently began liking meat so I'll give her small pieces of steak or chicken. Fortunately she likes her veggies so I always try to incorporate some into her dinner.
last night for dinner she had a piece of cheese, tomato, some chicken cutlet and a nectarine.
Depending on what it is, I'll either feed her or put a few pieces on her tray at a time. A bowl of anything would wind up on the floor.

Re: dont know why i have this problem but what do you
I am having a lot of feeding problems with DD too - she is 13 mths. She is still refusing a lot of foods (I think its more of a texture thing than not liking the tastes) but refusing baby food most days. (once in awhile she will take a jar or 2 with dinner only) She wont eat much meat or veggies yet - they keep falling out of her mouth. She eats a lot of fruit - all kinds, all day long. I cut it all up into small pieces and put just 2 or 3 on her tray at a time - - otherwise, she either throws them all on the floor or tries stuffing too many in her mouth at a time. I couldnt put a plate or bowl of food in front of her - like Lisa said...it would just wind up on the floor.Im sorry Im not of much help - Im having issues too.

What about yogurt, eggs, whole wheat toast with jelly, meatballs (either beef or chicken), turkey or veggie burgers
