Don't wake a sleeping baby....is there an age minimum?
seriously...I know he's just 2 days old but he's such a sleeper.
Has anyone ever known/had a baby that slept through the night (for the most part) REALLY early on?

My DS did at first.......now he does sometimes (at 7 weeks)
I was told that as long as he has enough wet diapers that it is ok.

Re: Don't wake a sleeping baby....is there an age minimum?
Shana, my new niece was sleeping 5-6 hour clips at night the day they brought her home. I am so jeolous!
My Bro's ped said not to wake her at night for feedings, but to def wake her during the day, letting her go no more than 3 hours.
My niece is 3 weeks old and still sleeps those 5-6 hour clips. All week she's been sleeping 10-4 or 9-3am

Logan's been sleeping for 4-6 hour stretches since birth.
After the hospital we never woke him up and he's healthy.

From the day we took him home my DS would sleep at least 5 or 6 hours.

Re: Don't wake a sleeping baby....is there an age minimum?
every night since she was about 3 weeks old!!
We waker her every morning at 7am for us to get ready to go to work. I am sure she could sleep till 8-8:30. I wish I could use it as an excuse to come into work late "sorry boss, doc said never wake a sleeping baby"
