Dormering a cape
Anyone done it? We are interested in a house which if we got we would probably like to dormer the rear and add a bathroom upstairs in a few years. What is the appr cost? About how long does it take?

I don't know the cost, but my SIL dormered her cape in PA a few years ago and that part was done in 2 days - they then had the whole top floor redone - total work was 2 or 3 weeks.

I too was interested in this, we looked at a couple of capes this weekend that we loved but we were wondering about how much a dormer would be.
