double curtain rod- for blackout shades?
So we're doing my sons big boy room and we got blackout shades and a curtain. So i'm told i need a double rod.
Do they stick out much from the wall?
where did you get yours from? are you happy with it?

Re: double curtain rod- for blackout shades?
I loved the ones I had put in my living room in my apartment. We had a sliding door that faced the parking lot. I had sheers on the back rod, and regular curtains on the front rod.
I don't remember them sticking that far out from the wall at all. The one I used was from Bed Bath & Beyond.

Re: double curtain rod- for blackout shades?
I just had this issue in my bedroom. We were putting up curtain panels over my faux wood blinds.
I found that "cheaper" rods I bought did not go out far enough from the wall to hang the panel over the blind.
I ended up using rods I found at JC Penny that extended far enough from the wall for the curtain to hang freely over the blind.
It was more money for the rods, but I really had no choice.
