Double stroller question btdt moms
When DC 2 is born DD will be 3 1/2. She's very tall for her age. We don't use the stroller for her often, but if we go to the mall or walk to the store she does. I use the jogging stroller with her very often in the summer because she fits in there comfortably. I'm wondering if a double stroller is a waste?

Glad you asked this because I keep going back and forth if I should get one. My DC will be 4 when my second is born.

Ds was 2 when ds2 was born and we got a city mini. We used it up until Nov when DS1 was 3.5 then we switched to a maclaren triumph double.
We still put them in the stroller at malls and fairs they are now 20 months and 4. They are 24 lbs 33" and 38lbs 41"
I will keep the maclaren to use for the 2 older boys but I also invested in britax b agile double for the younger 2.
Maybe you if you don't want to get a full double stroller you can check out a sit and stand.

I just saw a stroller that has just a little seat on the back and a piece they can just stand on I thinking was called the bravo ride along with jumpseat. It's MUCH cheaper than a double.ithink for me that might be a better option.

see I thought about doing this to save money but my DC loves to sleep in the stroller when we are out. I'm so torn what to do!

i'm going with the baby trend sit and stand since DS1 is already over 2.5yrs and he doesn't need to really sit in the stroller

They have these on clearance at Target right now for $100

I can't decide either....the double stroller I want is soooo expensive. My main concern with a sit n stand is the the older DC has no sun/rain protection. 
ETA: looks like some sit n stands do have a canopy that fits over both kids.....this is a hard decision! If I ask my DH he will say whichever is cheaper!
