Double Stroller question for BTDT Mommys
Better to have them side by side, or in front and back of eachother?
Ages would be infant, and almost 2 year old...
Thank you!

I'm getting both. DS is 2 and the baby will be here in May. I am getting a joovy sit n stand for everyday use in the stores and such but I am getting city mini for the parks and such where there is room for a side by side.

I personally like the side by side better because I feel like the stroller is easier to maneuver and the kids have a better view. On the other hand I am sure it is much easier to get the front and back through door ways. My DC are a year a part and I have always used the side by side.

Can you snap a Graco Snugride into those? If not, what are you doing for an infant carrier? I Love the Joovy, but does the 2 year old have to stand, and the younger sibling "sits" I wasn't sure when I saw it.

I had a front to back that my mom got used. I didn't like it.
I have a side by side. Bumbleride Indie Twin. Love it. Fits through 99% of doorways.

Re: Double Stroller question for BTDT Mommys
I have a Phil and Ted and LOVE it. It handles just like a single. I can easily steer it with one hand- even when my older two are in it (almost 4 and 2.5).
The other front/back strollers I test drove (Kolcraft, Graco) were VERY heavy and not easily maneuverable. The P&T has a swivel front wheel, so that makes it MOCH easier to steer.

Re: Double Stroller question for BTDT Mommys
I bought both...a front to back for when the baby was still in the infant seat, and when she was a bit bigger, we moved to the Maclaren double umbrella. I prefer the double umbrella, but the front to back was better for us when we used the infant seat.

I agree. Though, I don't really have issues with my Bumbleride getting through doorways. I still use my Double Snap n Go, which is front/back and it is hard to get through doors that aren't automatic or don't stay open!
