Double strollers...

I found a store local by me that has the stroller I've been wanting. I have a question though... why is it that the Graco DuoGlider LXI seems to be made like cr@p compared to the single Quattro Tour that I have? It doesn't seem sturdy at all? Any thoughts? I'm really worried about buying this now considering it's $200.00 and it doesn't seem to be made well. Thanks!

Re: Double strollers...

I've been using the DuoGlider LXI for the past few weeks for walks in the neighborhood. No problems with the stroller itself, but it's so much heavier than my metrolite, it's hard to navigate when going over bumps, around turns, etc. I didn't want a side by side stroller since I worry that Sarah (17 months) will be bothering Andy (5 weeks).

Good luck!

Re: Double strollers...

Thanks for the reply!

I sat Caiden in the front seat and he's already 35-36 lbs easy and when you turn it keeps feeling like it's going to tip over. I'm sure once the baby and stuff is in the back it will help that though. I'm just worried about spending the money and not being able to use it long considering how big Caiden is. I don't know what to do because if I don't get one, Caiden only runs away from me so I thought getting a dbl stroller would help. But if he's already almost 40lbs I wouldn't be able to use it for too long? Chat Icon Chat Icon

What about the sit n stand? Trish (chmlengr or however it's spelled) has that one for her kids. I wanted that one, but there's no way Sarah would stay in the back part yet.
