DPO & CD

Okay, I know how to calculate my cd days because that is basically counting from day 1 of AF and continuing on...right?

My question is, how do you calculate your DPO date? You must know for sure when you O'd right?

This is our first month really TTC. AF finished today....so that means I am on CD 5 since AF began on Tuesday...right?

And my cycle runs for 24 days.

So should we now BD every other day from tonight until......when? Or do we wait until CD 10 to begin?

this is really too much work!! Who would have knew?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you go to americanbaby.com and punch the dates in (under the fertility section) it will actually tell you the exact dates you should be BD'ing.

I saw someone else post the site on here the other day and went in.... you should try it....

Do you temp or use ovulation predictor sticks? Do you have any idea when you normally ovulate?

every women is different so it's hard to know specifically. But you can do some thing to narrow down when O is.

1. check your CM - when it started to get slippery/wet or egg-white in texture, O is coming.

2. use OPK(OPT) to test for LH surge around O

3. take your BBT every day

4. start charting

I chart at fertilityfriend.com but they also have a ton of info about all the stuff I listed above and they offer a free trial.

My last cycle was 24 days and I O'd on CD13 - unfortunately that doesn't mean I will definitely O on CD13 this cycle, but using all my data, and past months, and can estimte when O could be here and then BD like bunnies! :D
