Re: dr. B and immune testing
its not out of pocket really, its just that some insurances consider the lab not innetwork. The lab is called reprosource..I dont have a PPO but it is still covered 100 percebnt, call your insurance company...

Re: dr. B and immune testing
I had to pay the out of pocket cost - $772. Then I called reprosource and they submitted it to GHI. GHI sent me checks for about $550, but I have to send them to Reprosource. I will get about $350 back. In the end, I will end up paying about $450.

Re: dr. B and immune testing
my insurance covered the entire panel for me with reprosource through dr. B. i didn't expect it and was told it could cost between $800-$1100. reprosource also has a plan that allows you to pay $450 up front and if the insurance doesnt cover the testing thats all you have to pay. if it does, then obviously you dont pay anything, you get the deposit back. that is what we did and it worked out that insurance covered everything.

I have a quick question about this and I am wondering if you could help. I have GHI and just had all the testing done this month and paid the $772. I was told that GHI wouldnt cover it at all. Is it too late to call reprosource now and ask them to send GHI a bill, even though i have already paid reposource?!? Just curious. It has been an expensive month with all these co-pays and testings and anything to save some extra money.

No, I dont think so, and I completely understand. Everything is so expensive. I paid the $772 and then they submitted it to GHI. They will send you a letter that you have to sign agreeing to endorse the checks GHI sends to you over to them. They will bill for the list amount of around $1800. GHI sent me about $550, but they said I would be refunded $322. The $300 is better than nothing. The number to Reprosource is (781) 935-3068 ext. 321 and I spoke to Valerie. She was super helpful and then I spoke to Andrea who is the one that ran the check amounts for me. I am sending it to them tomorrow, so I have not received the refund yet. Good Luck!! Let me know if you need anything else.
