Re: Dr. Brown Bottle users...
Does DD seem to be struggling with the Level 1's?

I'm not sure when I did, but I just did whatever it said on the package. Does it seem like she is struggling to get more out of the bottle?

Yes it seems like she is sucking so hard. A couple of times I checked to see if the nipples were clogged - but they weren't. It says 3 months on the package...do you think it's too soon? I dont want her to choke.

Re: Dr. Brown Bottle users...
She's almost there, I would try it. If it starts spilling out of her mouth, it's too soon, but I don't think you'll have a problem.

I say go by the child, not by the label on the package. Each child is different. Some use it faster than others, and the packaging is just a guide. If she's struggling to drink, she's probably ready for the next size. Lily went to Level 2 at 2 months, and she's still there at 6 months.

Re: Dr. Brown Bottle users...
Buy one package of levels 2s and see how she does with them - if she's coughing or choking with them stick with level 1s for a while longer.

Re: Dr. Brown Bottle users...
I would switch. I tried it when DS was struggling he choked a little at first since it came out faster and he was used to sucking so hard, but in the long run he was much happier!

I think I moved to level 2 around 2 1/2 - 3 months. It took a little getting used to but she was struggling with level 1. I say give it a shot.
